I'm dedicated to empowering women on their healing journeys, creating a safe space for reclaiming strength and building resilience after trauma. I understand the unique challenges women face, and I'm here to walk alongside you.
My understanding of trauma's impact began with my mother, witnessing how her strength was tested by numerous challenges. This experience illuminated the need to address trauma within both individuals and family systems. I offer trauma-informed family therapy to navigate these complexities and foster collective healing.
When you work with me, you'll find a therapeutic relationship where you will truly feel seen and heard. My approach blends person-centered therapy with evidence-based techniques, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Somatic Trauma Work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I offer to help clients process and heal from past trauma.
I specialize in trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, racial trauma, and religious trauma. I also work with individuals who have experienced various forms of abuse, such as domestic violence, sexual, emotional, financial, and psychological abuse.
I support clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and stress management. Additionally, I help individuals cope with grief, navigate life transitions, and address self-harming behaviors. I assist with legal challenges related to trauma and offer therapy focused on women's issues.
I'm passionate about decolonizing therapy, ensuring your healing is free from oppressive structures. I integrate cultural awareness and your individual agency into our work.
